Instagram Stories launches geostickers which let users add and arrange illustrations to their Stories posts related to their locations. The new tools will provide existing location stickers that add the name of a place to your shots.
Geofilters was launched first by Snapchat in 2014, then geostickers in 2016. Instagram’s geostickers look almost identical to Snapchat’s, however this “war” seems to be far to it´s end. Snapchat has augmented reality selfie Lenses, a feature Instagram didn´t launch yet. Maybe soon, because Microsoft acquired MSQRD last year to bring these AR masks to its products.
